Dr. Sam Ebersole Promoted to Vice President of Training and Production at Global News Alliance

[Virginia Beach, VA — February 10, 2026] — Global News Alliance (GNA) has promoted Dr. Sam Ebersole to Vice President of Training and Production, strengthening GNA’s mission to equip believers to share authentic, Christ‑centered news stories worldwide.

Dr. Ebersole will continue leading the GNA Academy, training smartphone reporters and Christian correspondents, and partnering with story providers to ensure excellence in storytelling, journalistic integrity, and ministry impact.
He brings extensive experience in video production, including two Emmy Awards for his work with NBC Sports during the 1988 Summer Olympic Games, along with a 31‑year career as a media professor in the Colorado State College system.

“Training and equipping Christian communicators is essential to amplifying what God is doing around the world,” said Stan Jeter, GNA CEO. “Dr. Ebersole’s leadership will help raise a new generation of faith‑based storytellers.”

GNA began as an initiative of the NRB TV Committee and was launched as a fully operational online news service in 2016 under the leadership of Stan Jeter and the nonprofit Christian News and Information Institute, Inc.
