This report shares the story of how an orphanage that they support in Togo is providing life-changing opportunities for many young lives through the power of love and knowledge. www.cry.org.uk<\/p>\n<p><strong>Script or Transcript (English\/Spanish): <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Christian charity CRY is running a campaign this month to highlight how they are supporting partners around the world who are helping to break the cycle of poverty through education.<\/p>\n<p>One of those projects that is having a significant long-term impact is an orphanage they are helping in Togo, as the charity\u2019s operations manager Keziah Brennan explains:<\/p>\n<p>They\u2019ve been cared for and they\u2019ve gone to school. They\u2019ve gained schools. They\u2019ve gone on to university or got jobs. And what\u2019s coming back is we\u2019re seeing the circle of support like stories of Roland who 20 years ago comes to the orphanage. He\u2019s now been trained and he\u2019s an optician which he\u2019s running and working there and he\u2019s giving back to children what he was given there<\/p>\n<p>Keziah went on to share how as well as educating the children providing birth certificates for them is also life-changing:<\/p>\n<p>A birth certificate first of all enables the children to attend school but then also to take exams. It will enable them to go to university.
