Marching Together for Life in Romania
The "March for Life" 2024, with the theme "Building Together for Life," took place recently in various cities across Romania and in the Republic of Moldova. In Cluj, Napoca, the event was organized with the blessing of His Eminence Andrei, Archbishop and Metropolitan of Cluj, and took place in Avram Iancu Square, in front of the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Dormition of the Theotokos.

Bringing Clean Water to Flooded Brazil
When the Guiba River’s levee system was compromised, all but three neighborhoods in the city of Canoas in Brazil were suddenly, violently flooded. Any buildings still above water became shelters and distribution centers as donations poured into the region from across Brazil.
As floodwaters now recede, new needs are uncovered, and Samaritan’s Purse continues to support churches, community leaders, and volunteers who are working tirelessly to care for displaced people. As they partner together to meet physical needs, Brazilian Christians and their Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) are able to share the hope of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Indian Pastor Falsely Accused of Forced Conversions
In the Indian state where Pastor Laxman* lives, an anti-conversion law is in place to prevent people from leaving one faith for another. After his church grew from three to 250 members, Hindu extremists began accusing Laxman of forcing people to convert.
Despite his church being destroyed by extremists he continues to lead his fellowship through small groups and is receiving ongoing support from Open Doors partners in his ministry.

Facial Surgery Transforms Mechanics Life in Senegal
At just 21 years old, Papa has already established himself as an exceptional mechanic, pursuing his dream of fixing motorbikes in his community. But when a large tumor began growing from the left side of his face, his dreams for the future became shadowed by fear.

Church Members Return after Militant Attack in Central African Republic
In March 2023, a militant Muslim group attacked Pastor Samuel’s* village in southern Central African Republic (CAR). Most of the Christians – including Pastor Samuel – fled. But through support and prayers from Christian charity Open Doors, he and many of his church have returned to rebuild their lives.
