Formosa Vox Nativa Children’s Choir tours Europe in cultural exchange and sings for the Pope in Rome.

From the slopes of Mt. Jade in Nantou Taiwan,the Vox Nativa Children’s Choir returned to Europe after ten years.
With support from Taiwan’s Vatican embassy they performed for the newly appointed Pope Leo XIV Upon return
they were honored by the President.
Music is the universal language of the world, In the most sacred hall, we sang for all to hear letting the voices of Taiwan’s indigenous people be heard across the globe.
What touched us the most was the opportunity to have close contact with the Pope, In such a solemn setting we were able to sing four songs. Afterward we were graciously received by the Pope. For our children this was a rare and unforgettable experience leaving the deepest impression in their hearts.
On their tour through Italy, Poland, Germany and Austria the choir engaged in cultural exchange sharing music with local students and joining homestays. They also performed with the Sistine Chapel Children’s Choir for the first time to celebrate the Jubilee.
Our motivation hasn’t really changed because we hope that through the exchange of music and culture, our children can gain more exposure broaden their horizons and open up their minds. This remains our main purpose
Apart from staying with the host families at the school in Poznań, we also had musical exchanges with the local students. We danced together sang together and their enthusiasm truly amazed us
As musical ambassadors, Vox Nativa brings Taiwan and its Indigenous culture to the world, lending rural children a voice on the global stage.
