SCRIPT:
As millions from around the world gathered for the Paris Olympics this summer, several Christian organisations mobilized outreach teams to creatively sharing the Gospel.
Child Evangelism Fellowship coordinated several projects to impact young people including “Olympic Day” sports clubs while engaging them with the Good News.
While International Mission Board worked with several local churches to host Olympic parties as well as a Christian art exhibition while distributing scripture portions and Gospel Olympic pins.
IMB’s Paris Team Leader is Jason Harris: We’re called to make disciples from every nation. What better opportunity is there when sports has provided the platform to bring all nations to one place. We would just meet new people from a different place every single day. It was just incredible.
And IMB is planning to continue their outreach during the Paralympics starting from Aug 28 with the aim of having reached more than 30,000 people throughout this summer.
