SCRIPT:
More than 50,000 flocked to a major evangelistic outreach in Santa Domingo in the Dominican Republic last month.
Despite an unexpected down pour thousands enjoyed the two day Festival Palau and each night many responded to evangelist Andrew Palau’s invitation to ask Jesus into their lives.
Earlier on the second day, more than 6,500 kids enjoyed a variety of activities at the children’s festival.
Just steps away, the health fair provided essential care for those in need.
The festival was the culmination of a week of outreach events which included Andrew Palau sharing a Gospel message in a prison where many of the inmates received their own Bibles.
And during a women’s evening called Stories of Hope Wendy Palau shared her personal testimony.
And at the National Police Auditorium, 221 cadets came together for a night of encouragement and inspiration.
And the Palau Association is already planning their next festivals due to take place in Peru, Albania, Reno, Nevada, Zimbabwe and Argentina throughout this year.
