The leading global convention and trade show for Christian communicators attracted 5,700 visitors to Nashville Feb 17-20. GNA reporter Peter Wooding was there to find out why so many delegates travel long distances from around the world to attend NRB.

The NRB association welcomed more than 5,700 Christian media professionals to their International Christian Media Convention, February 17–20 in Nashville, Tenn. The leading global convention and trade show for Christian communicators featured 56,000 sq. feet of exhibits with more than 240 exhibitors.

And hundreds of those attending NRB have come from more than 50 countries. I’m going to ask many of those international delegates why they’ve travelled so far to be here.
NRB is a great place because a lot of people are using media in innovate ways to send the Gospel to places that need it the most. And I think it’s worth coming all that way. You know I took quite a journey.
It’s similar to heaven. When you think all these nations coming together have the same passion. The same work they’re doing but this one in Asia, Africa, we are in the Middle East, some people in the States. So it’s a place to learn.
So many people support each other and for Ukrainian Jews it’s so important now and we feel the support in the US and this media conference.
Because I’m running Jeremiah Television and this is an international Christian media conference and I want to connect to the people so we can reach more people.
NRB gives me that opportunity to come here, partner with people and help accomplish that great commission to go into the world and make disciples.
And the World by Media Forum & Reception at NRB highlighted how Christian media and ministry are advancing the Gospel across borders. This included 40 international organisations sharing about their work in just 30 seconds each.
And plans are already underway for NRB 2027, which will take next February in Washington DC.
