Albania’s extremely new and young evangelical churches dreamed, prayed, and worked together to proclaim the Good News as part of Tirana Fest this summer.
VIDEO SCRIPT
In the former atheist nation of Albania more than a thousand people responded to an invitation to accept Christ into their lives during this summer’s TiranaFest
Coordinated by the Palau Association thousands gathered in Tirana’s Skanderbeg Square for a weekend of music, worship and a message of hope from Andrew Palau.
The evangelist said it so inspiring to be able to freely preach the Gospel where it was previously illegal to be a Christian there:
It was a great fulfilment of many years of ministry and partnership together since the overthrow of that very significant dictatorship that caused Albania to be isolated for more than 40 years. You could think of it maybe like North Korea.
Our gathering was thousands, the church is not massive but their effort was significant and historic. And it was beautiful to see the joyful, enthusiastic response to the Gospel. Great testimonies of friends bringing friends is the main strategy.
And the Palau Association is currently planning future outreach festivals in Zimbabwe, Argentina, Spain and Rena, Nevada.
