Right now I’m in, California here in Pasadena. This is part of the Eaton Fire. 90 mile an hour winds. And the fire just ravaged this area. Hundreds of homes like this behind me just destroyed. And today, I’ve had a chance to meet with the homeowners and talk to them and pray with them. And we have teams up here helping.
Trying to find things for homeowners. One lady is looking for a figurine that her grandmother brought from Cuba back in the 60s. Others were looking for some jewelry, some wedding rings and things like that. They have to pay now rent. And if you’re retired, I have one more man I was speaking with. He was retired. How do you how you do all this?
So the people here need our prayers. They need our help. They need our assistance. By having us here, helping and working kind of brings closure to the home and to their lives that they had here. And so it’s kind of sad, but, we’re able to do it in Jesus name and we’re able to bring comfort.
And at the same time give hope, the same hope that we have in Christ. And we want to make Christ known to everyone that we help. But, we’ll be here for a long time helping. So thank you for your prayers. Thank you for your assistance. We couldn’t do it without you. So God bless you.
