Seven people lost their lives, and part of the building was destroyed by a Russian drone strike. The impact hit the seventh floor, and the explosion was so powerful that interior walls collapsed all the way down to the fourth floor.
Yet Oleh’s apartment was not damaged. He knows that it was prayer that saved his life.
VIDEO SCRIPT
Shalom. I live in this building, on the sixth floor.… there was a strike by our Russian brothers — comrades —… it hit my stairwell, on the seventh floor.
When there was an air raid alert, and drones were flying, I couldn’t sleep. I felt this deep anxiety in my chest.
Usually, when the drones come every night — Russian drones — I close the windows so I can sleep.
If someone asks me in the morning how the night went, I don’t remember — I was asleep.
But that night, I felt extremely anxious.
And I prayed. I prayed, and…
I was praying, and then there was an explosion.
A HUGE explosion!
Apartments on the seventh floor, the eighth floor — basically, all of them were damaged.
Because the strike hit the seventh floor, the explosion was so powerful that interior walls collapsed all the way down to the fourth floor.
That means there are no ceilings, no floors left in those apartments.
And people were killed — from the ninth down to the seventh floors.
And from this stairwell as well, because the explosion was extremely powerful.
In total, seven people were killed.
The scene was, of course, horrific.
And I live on the sixth floor in the same stairwell, just in a different wing.
And my apartment wasn’t damaged.
Only the doors were burned
And I want to tell you — this was not a coincidence.
Because I am a believer in God. I accepted the Lord, I repented in a Jewish Messianic community, and I became part of the Jewish community.
I have dedicated my life to God, and I serve Him.
And I want to tell you this… the Lord saved me.
He saved me, and He saved my property from this devastation.
