Beacon Lighters Kindling Revival Across Taiwan’s Universities.
OS1
Tainan
Taoyuan
Taichung
Kaohsiung
Hualien
and Taipei
were the locations in Taiwan
where the 2025 Beacon Lighters held meetings
encouraging youth to pray and share their faith
The movement started in 2011
A group of youth
led by Living Water Christian Church Tainan
embarked on a prayer tour
In 2022
it became Beacon Lighters
uniting youth nationwide to pray
and bless their cities
Pastor Chen Rong-Min, LWCC Tainan
Beacon Lighters gave us a new strategy
We are to connect with the youth
in local churches everywhere we go
to fellowship with them
and pray for the city and the county
Starting from PRAY TAIWAN in 2011
every prayer meeting, leading to
Beacon Lighters in the past few days
I saw a great deal of spiritual growth
They’ve been praying 6-7 hours daily
for the past week
Their faith in God is very strong
They will not stop praying
until they see God moving
OS2
Before each Beacon Lighters event
they go on prayer walks
On the day of the event
the youth called out to God
praying throughout the afternoon
for people to turn to God
Sun Si-Tie, prayer participant
I am exhausted
from giving 100 percent every time.
Emptying myself completely
It’s very tiring,
but also a growing experience.
Pastor Chang En-Cheng//Bread of Life Christian Church, Word of Life
Everyone here is committed to God
In the end, when we stand in a circle
it felt like we were one in spirit
praying for revival
OS3
Despite declining youth church attendance, God is actively bringing youth-driven revival to Taiwan, like the Asbury Revival.
Pastor Chen Rong-Min, LWCC Tainan
In churches around the world
college students make up
the smallest age group
Through Beacon Lighters
God set apart this smallest age group
because revival will begin with them
A fervor for God
will descend on these students
Pastor David Kim, Contend Global

This year’s Beacon Lighters
kindled the fire for prayer across Taiwan
They began in Tainan on March 1st
then went on to Taoyuan and Hualien
linking local Indigenous youth
Since Indigenous people
were the first inhabitants of Taiwan
revival must begin with them
Si Masaray, Tao Tribe//Taoyuan revival participant
It’s been a long time
since I’ve seen so many Aborigines
worshiping and praying together
Rsux Sucyang, Truku Tribe//Hualien revival participant
My desire is to love God
and to fear Him
as a youth and as Aborigine
and share this with the world
Pastor David Kim, Contend Global

In Taipei
Taichung and Kaohsiung
young people made a vow to the Lord
dedicating themselves as Nazarites
Everyone also received a vision
of working together to share the Gospel
Pastor Jonathan Chow , Bread of Life Christian Church in Taipei
“Arrayed in holy splendor
your young men
will come to you
like dew from the morning’s womb.”
When you choose
to be a Nazarite
you do not become holy
but Christ becomes your holiness
Who is your holiness
Christ is your holiness
Amen
Pastor Nathanael Chen, LWCC Tainan and General Convener of Beacon Lighters
Lord
give us the youth of Taiwan.
Let us be unified
as we come before God tonight
Let us earnestly seek Him
One two three
Lord
Give us the youth of Taiwan
Lord
Give us the youth of Taiwan
OS6
Beacon Lighters ignited youth prayer
followed by a 21-day national fast
Culminating on Taiwan Youth Day
March 29th
with a Ketagalan Boulevard celebration
for revival and youth rising
