Early morning, October 7th, our team members were called to assist people that were injured inside the communities and while they began driving, the terrorists began to shoot at them.  A large number of our team members was either injured or killed along that day, and some were even treated in the households of other team members while the families were hiding in the bomb shelter.

Moshe Schuman – Magen David Adom

The need for bulletproof ambulances who can get in there at, God Forbid terrorist attacks, a shooting, a rocket falling, to be there, to be able to help people, the need just became greater and greater. This myself, this morning, after I finished my having more of those ambiance on them again, to be on fleet as a tremendous help and a tremendous support to get to every patient, no matter if he’s Jewish, Christian, Muslim, any religion, any person that’s here in Israel to get first medical immediate supports and be transferred to the hospital where we can get further treatment.

Yonatan

These brand new armored ambulances is here in order to protect our teams and to give us the ability to safely treat and transfer badly injured or badly sick patients in areas of danger. And you can see here the level of protection and how thick are the walls. The entire layers of this vehicle are all covered with armoring plates that are protecting the vehicle and protecting the people inside, and giving them the ability to get to the scene to reach the patients, to treat them and evacuate them safely from the danger zone to the hospital.

Today we are going to dedicate two armored ambulances and also an ambulance center that we’re dedicating to them again to be the dome.

Franklin Graham – Samaritan’s Purse President

Our hearts are still sad because of the death of so many of your countrymen. So the days for many people are still very dark. But if we put our faith and trust in God, he will take us through these dark valleys, and he’ll take us to the other side.

The Jews are God’s people, and I believe it’s important that we stand with Israel. And today I’m committing to another 20, because Magen David Adom  needs them. I think it’s important that we do what we can to help the people in this nation. I can’t replace life, but maybe in the future we can help save some life, protect some life, things like this.

Lihi Levi Ingber – Survivor

You are amazing. Or what you’re doing is amazing. On one side, people came to kill us and from the other side, you come to help us, to save us. Thank you, Samaritan’s Purse, for all of your doing for us. We love you and we appreciate it.
