As this month marks the 30th anniversary of the genocide against the Tutsis in Rwanda, Christian charity Compassion is highlighting a story of hope from one its survivors. Emmanuel’s parents were murdered in a church. After hiding in the bush for weeks –he was rescued and was sponsored by Compassion, which kept him safe growing up and funded him through school and university.
Now, Emmanuel is a partnership facilitator with Compassion as well as being a children’s pastor.
