INTRO:

Nearly thirty pro-life organizations joined forces in Mexico City the first Saturday of May, marching from the Revolution Monument to the Mexico City Congress, where in April 2007 abortion was legalized, leading to the death of thousands of innocent persons.

STORY:

(MAN) This is an emergency march. Urgency for life.

(MAN 2): It is a very important moment, as we commemorate 18 years of abortion in this city, in our country, where more than 200,000 victims have died because of something that is not necessary.

(WOMAN): The heart, a small one, begins to beat at 18 days from the moment we, as women, have conception—already an embryo—it is already a life.

(CROWD): This is the pro-life youth.

(MAN 3): They continue legislating in favor of killing babies in the womb. It is a great inconsistency and a great sorrow for Mexico. For me, as a Mexican.

(WOMAN 2): This march represents that the woman is totally free to choose life, life. But that does not mean we have the right to kill anyone. And this includes babies in the womb.

CROWD: Each life is a triumph!

(MAN 4): We cannot cut off the possibility of birth for those children in their mothers’ wombs. And that is why we are here, fighting for our Lord Jesus Christ, because He is life and He wants us all to live.

(CROWD): This is pro-life Mexico.
