Samaritan’s Purse is responding in Jesus’ Name after Venezuela was hit by devastating earthquakes.
On June 27 the ministry’s 767 cargo plane airlifted life-saving supplies, including an Emergency Field Hospital, to the Latin American nation. Their disaster response specialists are on the ground in Venezuela, with dozens more to follow in the coming days. Set up began on the hospital in hard-hit La Guaira on Sunday.

Venezuela was impacted by two back to back earthquakes, both of them over 7.2 in magnitude. Behind me, they are unloading the Samaritan’s Purse Boeing 767 cargo plane. The bulk of the cargo is a field hospital. It also includes pharmaceuticals, blankets, tarp hygiene kits, all kinds of supplies for the earthquake victims here in Venezuela. This flight is just the first one that Samaritan’s Purse has brought in.
We already have other flights planned throughout this whole next week. We’re going to continue to bring supplies in and get it to the folks here on the ground. We covet your prayers during this next week as we bring other flights in with supplies.
