As fans left the stadium following a recent Seattle Sounders soccer match they could hear the sounds of worship during a Faith and Family Celebration.
One of their players even shared a testimony of God’s faithfulness in his life. It’s hoped these evangelistic events will be launched at many other US soccer stadiums.

As professional soccer players around the world are increasingly making a public declaration of their Christian faith, Paul Arriola a player with the Seattle Sounders in the US shared his testimony during a Faith and Family celebration after their recent game outside the stadium.
Chaplain for the team Jesse Bradley also shared a Gospel message.
He says one of the highlights was seeing the response of the soccer fans to their time of worship.
Different fans said I was leaving the stadium and I heard this worship sound and I came over and I’m thrilled and I’m going to tell the Sounders how grateful I am for this day. And one lady said I never thought in a million years I would ever hear my favourite worship songs after a Sounders match. So God did something special and we look to continue this.
And Bradley says he’s now speaking to other Major League Soccer chaplains about launching Faith and Family Celebrations across America.
