Hundreds of Christian leaders will come together to read the entire Bible over the course of a week in Washington DC in April, as a catalyst to bring the nation back to the word of God.

One of the largest ever Bible reading events in US history is set to take place in Washington DC April 18-25. Ahead of America’s 250th anniversary over 475 leaders from all spheres of influence will read the entire Bible aloud at the Museum of the Bible.
The Visionary and Organizer behind this campaign called America Reads The Bible is Bunni Pounds.
It came from the story of Ezra in Nehemiah where Ezra stood up with the scroll and read Genesis to the Israelites as a reminder to them who they were before Nehemiah came on the scene to help the Israelites rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.
And I really believe we need to have an Ezra moment to raise up a generation of leaders like Nehemiah for the next 250 years of America. So we’re going to have over 475 of our national leaders from government and media to education to ministry and business reading the Bible to the American people.
And the week will kick off with an opening celebration with many national leaders testifying of their dependence on the Bible in their lives and call America back to the Bible.
