SCRIPT:

As Sudan recently entered its third year of devastating conflict, a global children’s charity, has warned that unprecedented hunger is threatening to kill 600,000 people within days or weeks unless urgent action is taken, and children remain at increased risk.

With the forced displacement of nearly 15 million people Sudan remains the world’s largest internal displacement crisis.

Simon Mane is World Vision’s Sudan National Director:

As World Vision, one of the biggest humanitarian organisations with a child focus is currently delivering assistance through food security, livelihoods, WASH, protection and nutrition activities in the most impacted areas of this conflict.

And Mane says an international united response is urgently needed to bring peace to Sudan.

If leaders over the world put together their efforts to bring down this conflict then we feel conflict that people will return back home.
