The Aspen Acres Fire has burned over 100,000 acres in southern Colorado and turned hundreds of homes to ash and twisted metal. Some families have lost everything they held dear.
Billy Graham Rapid Response Team chaplains recently ministered in Pueblo County, meeting residents in their grief and stress and offering a safe space to pray, listen, and share the hope of Jesus Christ.

I mean, it was just a wall of flame. Those two homes burning. He said we couldn’t get too close because of the heat. He said it was like nothing he had ever seen in all of his years of fighting fires.

My dad and sister were scheduled to move here May 2nd, and unfortunately, my dad got sick and he passed away on Memorial Day.
All the stuff was there less than two weeks. So all of our family stuff is gone.
