Beth: It’s everybody in the world, you know, focusing on the lost and, uh, the needs of this world that we all live in.
Reporter: Beth McLaughlin is a senior elder in the Global Methodist Church in rural Missouri. This year, she is leading a 10-Day prayer event, bringing together local believers who are partnering with those around the world.
Beth: And then to hear the stories of the things that are happening around the world and know in some small way we’ve had a part in, in being partnered with the Lord in what He wants to unfold all across the globe.
Reporter: The 10-day prayer movement invites you to join with them for a time of extraordinary prayer from September 11th through the 21st. Founder [00:01:00] Jonathan Friz is leading the effort to organize a global upper room experience for believers around the world.
Jonathan: Take 10 days off from work, from school, from normal life in order to seek God with prayer, with fasting, with repentance. You know, our dream is just, you know, what Jesus prayed: let your kingdom come, let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
